I’ve been trying to find a decent set of seats, and these 1986 944 seats look pretty awesome for the Matrix. A few hours of fab work to get the brackets to work with the Matrix mounts would be obviously needed (something I’m not afraid to do). But these are way nicer than the stock seats and don’t feel like sandpaper.....185 dollars..should I?

Having a 944 with that style of seat, I can tell you that they’re quite comfortable with decent lateral support. Plus, they’re just a flat-bottomed seat with flat rails, so building mounts would be easier than starting with a seat with a funky base.
Also! New vinyl upholstery for those seats is available from only944.com for a reasonable price.
$185 isn’t a bad price if they’re local and you don’t have to pay shipping.
